The summer holidays are fast approaching and we’re so thrilled to be gathering by the seaside for this year’s return to a live Sidmouth Folk Festival from 29th July – 5th August 2022! What a festival it’s going to be! Make sure you buy your season ticket soon for the best value and flexibility for a jam-packed week of music, dance and song. In an uncertain world, we are certain that you will have the best of times!

We’re in the mood for one hell of a party. There’s no better place for that than at Bulverton, the jumping hub of roots dance parties, each night from 7pm through ‘til the early hours with the likes of Highland & Islands’ party starters Peatbog Faeries, the rocksteady rhythms of Edward II, Blowzabella’s Euro dance sounds, and firebrand singer/songwriter Grace Petrie. Each night of the week offers hour after hour of dance floor action, with an outstanding main act and a fun-filled Late Night Extra ceilidh. The evening kicks off with early doors sessions and ends with an after-hours acoustic chill out in Betsy’s Lounge. To make it a real one-stop night out, there are also great deals on tasty food and drink too.

Daytimes at Bulverton also have so much more going on this year with some really great workshops featuring Blowzabella, The Spooky Men’s Chorale, West African Dance with Batch Gueye, Bhangra Dance and Salsa.

And all NEW Bulverton Creative Making Sessions take place in 2022 with Heather and Mark Clarke of Creativity, Design and Production. Get involved with making beautiful large-scale decorations for display on the ‘Welcome Arch’ and around the festival site. Try Green Woodworking Crafts, Kinetic Sculpture, Cold Forming Metal working and more!
