Multi-instrumentalist Helghyer (pronounced Hell-hear) is back with her unique, rich voice as succulent as t-bone steak or duck egg custard and is set to release The Mage, The Wiseman and The Lioness: Part 2 on 1st December 2014 on Circle of Trees.
Her quirky art-rock/indie-folk sound has been described as “a cross between Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush” and “Tolkien-esque” with “stunningly precise harmonies” on a “perfectly decorated sound-scape.” Her debut EP of the same name, received support from both sides of the Atlantic and airplay from Tom Robinson at BBC Radio 6 and BBC Introducing Berkshire.
