Fraser Fifield ~ In Mumbai

Scottish multi-instrumentalist Fraser Fifield travelled to the Bollywood district of Mumbai to record his new album, on general release from 6th July. In Mumbai sees Fraser team up with three virtuoso musicians over a three day recording session at YRF studios, one of India’s most famous film production companies.  Alongside Fifield’s pipes, whistles and soprano sax, Sabir Khan plays sarangi, Navin Sharma plays dholak and tabla and Suresh Lalwani, violin and viola; a unique ensemble.

The album contains nine tracks: eight originals plus an arrangement of the traditional Scottish strathspey, ‘The Ewe Wi The Crooked Horn’.

Online release only, In Mumbai is available from and from most online platforms from 6th July, 2020.
