Philip Marino announces fourth album

Philp MarinoPhilip Marino is excited to announce the 27th of July, 2018 as the release date of his fourth CD, a ten-track album, entitled Chasing Ghosts. The album was recorded at The Boathouse Studios (a converted boathouse) along the River Orwell in Suffolk, England, and was co-produced by Adam Bowers and Marino. The first single from the album is the title track, ‘Chasing Ghosts’. This new album follows Marino’s critically-acclaimed 2017 EP Days Like These, on which Marino worked with producer and singer-songwriter Simone Felice (producer of The Lumineers) and James Felice of The Felice Brothers.

Philip Marino is an American singer-songwriter who resides in Essex, England, Influenced at a young age by the likes of John Mellencamp, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, Neil Young, and Bob Dylan. The music Marino makes today is a mix of storytelling and soul-searching. For the past seven years, he has been playing shows on many well-known stages in the east of England (e.g., Proud Camden, The Islington, The Harrison, Colchester Arts Centre, Live at Little Rabbit Barn, Cambridge Folk Club, John Peel Centre for Creative Arts). Marino’s songs have also been played on radio stations around the world, including BBC radio.
