The UK’s first and finest Americana festival is pleased to announce its full line-up for 2024. Maverick Festival will take place from Friday 5th July to Sunday 7th, showcasing artists from both sides of the Atlantic and beyond. The barns and fields of Easton Farm Park in rural Suffolk will once more be transformed into a festival site offering six stages indoors and out, presenting an array of music, dance and masterclasses that have been attracting festival-goers since 2008.
Building on the existing roster which includes The Sadies, Diana Jones, Todd Day Wait and Michele Stodart, the festival is excited to add Country Roots duo Wild Ponies, rising star Lizzie No and Portland’s own triple-threat Jerry Joseph to this year’s lineup. Maverick will also be serving up a Cajun special, featuring a dance workshop and some of the UK’s best and brightest in the Cajun and Zydeco scene. This year’s tribute will be dedicated to the late and great Robbie Robertson, with artists across the board already set to contribute.
Maverick has been at the forefront of establishing the Americana scene in the UK since before the genre was christened, co-founding the Americana Music Association UK and hosting established artists like Mary Gauthier, Justin Townes Earle, Sierra Hull and Billy Bragg whilst championing many like Yola, Larkin Poe and Gwenifer Raymond early in their careers.
Grab your tickets now, come to the farm and see tomorrow’s stars of Americana today!
