Folk legend Julie Felix died on March 22nd 2020 after a brief illness. This concert is to celebrate both her wonderful life and her amazing music. Julie was dedicated to her music and was performing live right up until her untimely death. Born in California she came over to England and made it her permanent home. Julie’s passionate message throughout her long career was to bring peace and understanding to the world through her songs. Julie was reportedly the first folksinger to fill the Royal Albert Hall, and was described by The Times as “Britain’s First Lady of Folk”, as well as hosting her own shows for the BBC from 1967 to 1970, Among those featured were the Kinks, Fleetwood Mac, Leonard Cohen and Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page,
