Sam Draisey announces new double CD – Red Vs Blue

Sam Draisey

Folk-Punk Singer/Songwriter Sam Draisey is back with a new album. With eighteen new songs across two disks (one red, one blue), Sam combines previously unheard material with songs that have become the mainstay of his weekly lockdown livestreams.

The album is diverse both musically and contextually. As well as Sam’s more frequent observations on political and social matters, there’s also more introspective fare. And a song about Play-Doh.

The album once again showcases the talents of Daniel Hart on guitar and Dickie Davis on drums, though this time it also features Ewan Stevens (Bleeding Hearts) on Cittern/Mandolin and John Hare (Nick Parker and The False Alarms) on accordion.

The album is due to be released on the 1st of May 2021. A live stream gig will accompany the launch. As an independent musician, Sam handles everything himself, whether it’s recording, booking or making and distributing music and merchandise.
