NEEDTOBREATHE

NEW ALBUM RIVERS IN THE WASTELAND OUT APRIL 14

NeedtobreatheFolking have recently been given the word on South Carolina-based trio NEEDTOBREATHE who have just announced the details of their new album Rivers In the Wasteland, which will be officially released in the UK on April 14 through Atlantic Records. Folking were lucky enough to get an advanced copy and we absolute love it.

Rivers In the Wasteland is the follow-up to the band’s acclaimed 2011 album The Reckoning: a collection of timeless American rock and roll that caught the attention of many including The New York Times who simply said “this gifted band makes anthemic Southern rock”.

Rivers In the Wasteland was co-produced by the band with the help of various producers including Joe Chiccarelli (My Morning Jacket), Kevin Augunas (The Lumineers), Ed Cash and Jerrod Bettis (Adele) and recorded in the band’s very own Plantation Studios in Charleston, Fairfax Recordings in LA and Blackbird Studios in Nashville.

NEEDTOBREATHE, compromising brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart and Seth Bolt, have been touring relentlessly over the past couple of years, captivating music fans at festivals such as Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits, along with standout performances on Letterman, Fallon, Leno and Conan.

NEEDTOBREATHE is: Bear Rinehart (vocals, guitar), Bo Rinehart (vocals, guitar) and Seth Bolt (vocals, bass). The official video for “the heart” which is the 7th track on the album is available for your viewing pleasure below…
