Introducing The Strange And The Beautiful

The Strange And The Beautiful

The Strange And The Beautiful – are they folksy-blues or bluesy-folk?  Progressive or depressive? Soulful or doleful?

These five Devon-based, genre-bendre musicians got it together in the early-part of 2014. From the earliest rehearsals it soon became clear that this thing had legs. Ten – at the last count.  This was a band that was going places, most of them could drive and those that couldn’t knew plenty of other people that could.  This was a band with a wealth of experience and, perhaps more crucially, not much experience of wealth.

Yes – they’ve got guitars! Two! They’ve gottwoguitars! Yes, they’ve got a bass, they’ve got drums, they’ve even got trombones – and a singer that can really..er..sing.

So this, my friends, is going to be a band to watch out for, a band to listen to – a band to make your own.  So come on! DO be a Stranger.  Let’s do this and let’s do it now……

PS. The Great Wooley Krampus isn’t a member of the band (as far as we know).
