A message from Eliza Carthy

Eliza Carthy

Dear friends,

It has become imperative, in light of the current governmental advice regarding the dreaded C-word, for us to reschedule where we can our Restitute Live/Through That Sound launch tour to the winter of this year.

We ask you please for your patience, and if you can to consider signing up for two internet broadcasts, dates and ticket link to be announced very shortly. We will perform our intended set in full as we intended when we rehearsed last week, before we self-isolate for the health of our friends and family. There won’t be a cap on what to donate, for obvious reasons…we are losing at least twelve shows on this tour and have people to care for as we all do. Whatever you can give will be gratefully received.

In addition to this we are pleased to announce that we can now offer the album in its entirety as a digital release.

You have two options.

You can order a digital copy, which amounts to a download, a SoundCloud link and the sleeve notes, for £10. If you pre-order a physical copy now we will be pleased to provide you with the SoundCloud immediately upon purchase, and you will then receive the physical CD on your doormat via the post on April 1st as promised, for £12 plus p&p.

We will be releasing the details for the internet broadcast as soon as we can set it up, likely in the next few days.

We do not believe the hashtag #gifttheticket is helpful, as it requires extra effort on behalf of the sometimes struggling small-to-medium-sized venues we work with. Please remember them in your thoughts too, we are an inter-reliant ecosystem and are all trying to support each other where we can.

With this mutual support in mind we ask that you don’t inundate the venues during this difficult time, please wait for them to contact you with rescheduling information.

Finally thank you for your continuing support. We hope that you, your family and friends stay as safe as is possible and that we will see your smiling faces soon once this is all over.

Love to all

Eliza Carthy
